Does your dog need a new home?

Diggs4Dogs can help

At Diggs4Dogs, we offer a rehoming service. With this service we will add your dog to our website and other adoption pages; and use our network of people to search for a new home while the dog remains in your care. This is for owners who find that circumstances have changed or that a particular dog is no longer the right fit for their home. Life happens. Good people make hard decisions. Our job is to help the dog land where they can truly succeed.

Please complete the Rehoming Questionnaire form in full and include clear, recent photos uploaded via your Google Drive. The more accurate and detailed the information you provide, the better we can match your dog with the right home. There are no wrong answers. Honesty is not a liability-it is a necessity. If your dog isn't good with cats, children, other dogs, or certain environments, that's okay. Those details help us place your dog responsibly and set everyone up for success. There is a home for every dog. Our goal is not speed- Its suitability. We are committed to finding a stable, permanent home where you dog can be understood, supported, and reach their full potential.

If your situation is dire and cannot wait until we can find a perfect home for you dog, you may surrender your dog to Diggs4Dogs. We charge a $150 fee if the dog is surrendered to us. Keep in mind all the money goes right back into feeding and caring for the dogs. If our rescue is full, we can add you on a waitlist until we have room in the future. Until then we will put them up for adoption and begin the search immediately for a new home.

Important requirement: Your dog must be spayed or neutered and fully up to date on its vaccinations. We have no exceptions on this. This policy is in place to protect the health and safety of your dog, potential adopters and the community. If this criteria is not met then we will not begin a re-homing process nor will we accept the dog into our care.
